Netting 30.67% of global investor interest, these FOMO assets have moved far beyond their meme-stock beginnings to become the leading story of the crypto age. This has become a trend connoting the increased desire to take on more and more risky investments.
The main impact from memes coins contributed 14.36% of the global investors’ attention in 2024, an increase from the 8.32% that it had grabbed in 2023. This means that there are 6.04 percentage points more interest in meme coins at the moment especially as the meme coin market moves beyond the use of dog inspired coins to other animals and personalities.
