US Exchange Coinbase to Acquires Skew Data Analytics Platform

Institutional grade blockchain data analytics platform Skew  integrated with Coinbase prime inorder to boost up its real-time data analytics to clients.

Greg Tusar is the Vice President of institutional products at Coinbase. However, he said that they’re excited to integrate skew’s data analytics platform with Coinbase Prime. Moreover, empowering the customers to track cryptocurrency spots and acquire markets in real-time. With skew, they’ll arm professional traders with effective, aggregated market data, presented in a highly actionable pattern. All within their market leading prime brokerage.

In 2018, Skew was founded by CEO Emmanuel Goh and Chief Operating Officer Tim Noat. With the aim of making crypto markets more friendly to institutional investors. The company has already seen a rapid growth in the past two years counting over 100 customers. Some of Skew’s institutional clients include One River Asset Management and Susquehanna International Group.

Apart from that for major US institutions like JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs & Citi, Skew Inaugurated a mix of traditional financial services and crypto mastery.

Coinbase has already been a Skew client since the launch of analytics two years ago. However, apart from developing a strong, positive relationship with the Coinbase team but have observed first-hand their impressive product-led culture, which is focusing on compliance and commitment to the institutional space.

After the news went public on Nasdaq on April 14, several Coinbase executives sold hundreds of thousands of COIN shares, made millions of dollars.

Coinbase has acquired several companies in the past. However, the companies include Bison trails (a fully managed blockchain infrastructure provider) & a startup Routefire (trading suite tools and services).
