- Bill Zanker confirms no fallout with Trump family despite cease-and-desist notice.
- TRUMP token expands to Tron blockchain to boost utility and cross-chain access.
- TRUMP-branded mobile game aims to attract non-crypto users starting this summer.
Bill Zanker, entrepreneur and early collaborator in the TRUMP memecoin and NFT initiatives, insists that his relationship with the Trump family remains intact despite legal tensions. Recently, Zanker received a cease-and-desist letter from the family, allegedly over unauthorized branding linked to a crypto wallet.
However, he says the disagreement stemmed from a communication gap, not a breakdown in the partnership. While questions swirled around the authenticity of ongoing collaborations, Zanker has doubled down, confirming a range of upcoming TRUMP-branded projects most notably, a mobile game targeting mainstream adoption.
No Rift, Just a Misstep
Although Eric Trump publicly criticized the use of the Trump name in recent crypto ventures, Zanker maintains there is no falling out. He called the legal notice a misunderstanding tied to the wallet launch timeline by World Liberty Financial.
According to him, the wallet was in advanced development stages and the TRUMP token integration had already been planned. Consequently, the launch proceeded with confidence, and Zanker cites World Liberty’s move to add the TRUMP token to its treasury as proof of alignment between all parties.
Besides clarifying the status of his collaboration with the Trump family, Zanker emphasized ongoing efforts to push the TRUMP token beyond speculation. He stated that the ultimate goal is to develop tools that appeal to non-crypto users starting with a TRUMP-themed mobile game set to launch this summer.
Tron Partnership and Broader Blockchain Vision
Zanker also highlighted the technical progress behind the TRUMP token. It has now been bridged to the Tron blockchain through the LayerZero infrastructure. This move is aimed at improving scalability and cross-chain accessibility, making the token more versatile for developers and users alike.
Significantly, Zanker praised Tron founder Justin Sun for his practical approach to blockchain integration. He believes Sun’s infrastructure work aligns well with the needs of the TRUMP token’s broader audience, especially those unfamiliar with cryptocurrency.
However, the association with Sun does not come without complications. Sun still faces civil fraud allegations from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Both sides have agreed to explore a resolution, with a court update expected by late August. While this casts a shadow over Tron’s legal standing, Zanker appears undeterred.
