SharpLink Gaming, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBET) has achieved a new milestone, officially becoming the world’s largest corporate holder of Ethereum (ETH). The Minneapolis-based company now holds 280,706 ETH, a dramatic rise fueled by aggressive purchasing between July 7 and July 13, 2025.
During that seven-day window, SharpLink acquired roughly 74,656 ETH for approximately $213 million, locking in an average price of $2,852 per coin. This milestone not only positions SharpLink at the forefront of corporate crypto adoption but also signals a growing trend among institutions diversifying into digital assets.

Aggressive Expansion Backed by Strong Capital Raises
The company raised $413 million in net proceeds via its At-The-Market (ATM) facility, issuing 24.6 million shares during the same week. This influx of capital has allowed the company to rapidly scale its ETH position while maintaining room for further expansion. As of July 13, nearly $257 million remains unallocated, indicating that SharpLink may continue increasing its exposure.
Besides accumulating ETH, SharpLink has deployed approximately 99.7% of its holdings into staking protocols. Since initiating its ETH-focused treasury strategy on June 2, 2025, the company has already earned 415 ETH in staking rewards.
This dual approach acquisition and yield optimization sets SharpLink apart from other corporate crypto holders. It highlights a strategy not just focused on appreciation, but also on generating sustainable crypto-native income.
ETH Concentration and Future Implications
SharpLink has introduced a proprietary metric known as “ETH Concentration,” which measures the ratio of total ETH held to assumed diluted shares outstanding. This ratio climbed from 2.00 to 2.46 ETH per 1,000 shares since June 13, a 23% increase.
Such metrics reflect the company’s effort to maintain transparency while aligning treasury practices with long-term shareholder value.
Moreover, market analysts suggest broader implications for Ethereum. According to Thomas (Tom) Lee of FSInsight.com, ETH has gained 22% over the past month despite being down 9% year-to-date.

He notes that the rise of stablecoins and Wall Street’s push to tokenize real-world assets are creating new demand for ETH. These macro trends could provide further upside for Ethereum and, by extension, for SharpLink’s position.
