A famous Italian artist, Andrea Speziali has created his first NFT “My Life”: a digital artwork with half a million images. This young artist’s work consisting of 500,000 images narrates the author’s life and production.
The artist has combined a digital artwork of half a million images obtained from photographs, artworks, sculptures, paintings, drawings, notes, secret documents, and frames from some successful videos, into a single Non-Fungible Token (NFT).
Andrea Speziali, born in 1988 and based in Riccione, is one of the most recent Art Nouveau experts, holding a doctorate from the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino.
The artist will hold an exhibition for his work before the auction. The report states that Speziali will print an algorithm-generated bitcoin code as well as his NFT code. This code will be placed on a wall, which is 1,000-square-meter wallpaper applied to the walls of a villa.
The participants of this exhibition can identify the code to win the art. This code will be among the displayed series, who finds it can collect the work in the auction.
My Life: Replica of Beeple
The NFT “My Life” is similar to the artwork of “Beeple” created by Mike Winklemann. But My Life has outperformed Beeple in terms of the number of images used. Significantly, Beeple’s NFT consists of 5,000 images whereas Speziali’s NFT is composed of 500,000 images.
In fact, “Everydays – The First 5000 Days” is a digital artwork known as ‘Beeple’. It is a collage of 5,000 images made one-per-day over more than 13 years. Besides, it was sold for $69 million at the auction house in March 2021.
Furthermore, NFT market growth is enormous and it still continues to widen its market globally. Since the start of this year, NFT sales have never disappointed and many popular entities are getting involved in NFT.
Consequently, following the NFT artwork of ‘Beeple’ many young artists all over the world wanted to create NFT. Beeple was a foundation that allowed artists to grow into who they are today, exploring NFT.
