Basketball Brand SLAM Signs Deal With NFT Platform Autograph

Autograph, co-founded by Tom Brady, has announced a partnership with SLAM to develop and distribute collectible digital content on DraftKings Marketplace.

Thanks to SLAM’s 300-plus cover library going back to 1994, Autograph users may now browse and acquire some of the best basketball players featured collectibles. Moreover, it will include classic magazine covers featuring athletes like Allen Iverson, Vince Carter, Devin Booker, and Sabrina Ionescu.

In addition to the magazine itself, the cover has become a basketball player’s Holy Grail. Moreover, the most genuine basketball narrative brand, SLAM has developed into a worldwide lifestyle brand and multimedia property with over 16 million engaged global followers on over 20 social platforms.

Dillon Rosenblatt, CEO, and Co-founder of Autograph said:

“SLAM is uniquely positioned to bring the Autograph community some of the most unique and historic basketball NFT content.”

Crypto And Sports Collaboration on the Rise

Furthermore, previously released Autograph NFTs on DraftKings Marketplace include Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretzky, Derek Jeter, Naomi Osaka, Simone Biles, and Tony Hawk. Soon, Autograph will announce a similar agreement with Lionsgate to produce collectible digital material based on the major movie franchises.

This follows SLAM’s April NFT release featuring two SLAM covers starring New Orleans Pelicans All-Star Zion Williamson.

Basic, Gold, Gold Autographed, and a 1-of-1 Platinum Autographed SLAM x ZION collection limited edition covers were available. Filmed at Duke University in April 2018. Just before Williamson entered the NBA Draft. Moreover, shot in New Orleans in June 2020, just before the season resumed in Orlando.

The confluence between sports and the crypto world continues to expand. With companies, assets, teams, leagues, and players engaged in almost every sport possible.
