The Gutter Gang has expanded to include TWO new species. 3,000 each of species #3 and #4 will be available through Gutter Mint Passes. The Gutter Gang’s 12,000 members will be able to have a significant effect on NFT space.
All Gutter species will gain utility, but those containing two, three, or four will gain more. Finally, the 3rd and 4th Gutter species will be revealed soon and only be available through the mint pass.
Gutter Passes are a “buy now, pay later” ticket for a future series of NFTs. According to data analytics site Nansen since its launch 20 hours ago, the project has transacted 4,002 ETH in trading volume.
In addition, you may mint the third and fourth Gutter Species. Gutter Cats and Gutter Rats were the first two. Both are from a post-apocalyptic world where cats rule.
The OpenSea listing stated:
“The year is 2050. Humans are an interplanetary species and have all but abandoned the post-apocalyptic shatters of society on earth. Cats have taken over. One crime-ridden, nondescript inner city is inhabited by a group of cats collectively known as the Gutter Cats.”

Gutter cats, like CryptoPunks and the Bored Ape Yacht Club, are (another) avatar projects. In June, 3,000 cats were sold out in just 10 minutes. The Gutter Cat now costs 5 ETH ($19,737). The Gutter Rats start at 1.55 ETH ($6,118).
Some are already wondering whether this product includes aspects of the 2017 ICO frenzy when investors were urged to buy items that weren’t even built yet. Others don’t care since the 2017 ICO craze made many wealthy.
The Gutter Species sale, on the other hand, is an investment in the future. Like ICOs, previous NFT avatar projects have rapidly converged on similar economic structures. It’s a mint for NFT avatar projects, then sister and derivative projects for those who missed out.
This means creating a real community around NFTs that draws people who aren’t simply seeking to flip the next great viral initiative.
