Trump’s World Liberty Faces $6.15M Loss Amid Market Decline

Trump’s World Liberty has made massive losses on recent cryptocurrency investments.  Total amount infused was $47.5M to ETH, WBTC, AAVE, LINK, ENA, and ONDO, according to Lookonchain.  Nevertheless, due to the fluctuations in the crypto market, the company incurred a loss of $6.15 million. 

ETH (Ethereum) Leads Losses with $4.86M Drop

Among the biggest losses, Ethereum (ETH) stands out. World Liberty invested in 8,827 ETH at an average price of $3,682 per token and the total purchase was worth $32.5 million.  As the market declined, the value of these holdings dropped to $27.64 million, resulting in a loss of $4.86 million. This represents a significant decrease, contributing heavily to the overall loss.

Other Notable Losses: WBTC, AAVE, LINK, ENA, and ONDO

In addition to ETH, other assets also faced declines. World Liberty acquired 103 WBTC for $10 million at a buying price of $97,087 per token. The WBTC holdings were valued at $9.58 million, reflecting a loss of $417,843.

The investment in AAVE also underperformed. A total of 6,137 AAVE tokens were purchased for $1.99 million, with a per-token price of $325.89. These tokens are worth $1.70 million, incurring a loss of $296,445.

Chainlink (LINK) was another area of concern. World Liberty purchased 78,387 LINK tokens for $2 million, with an average price of $25.51 per token. The current value has fallen to $1.58 million, marking a loss of $421,284.

Additionally, the ENA and ONDO tokens have not been immune to the market downturn. Trump’s World Liberty invested $750,013 in 741,681 ENA tokens, which are now worth $644,966, marking a loss of $105,047. Similarly, the 134,216 ONDO tokens purchased for $250,000 have dropped in value to $201,150, incurring a loss of $48,850.
