Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) are the new trend, and their popularity has spread in unexpected ways. We’ve all heard of NFTs sold through digital artwork, and some of them are cartoon figures. Furthermore, game NFTs have soared as a result of Axie Infinity, and the majority of those in the industry are aware of Axie Infinity. It is a gaming industry that has reached the heights, and many other gaming industries have followed Axie Industry.
We’ve also seen some game items sold as NFTs, but have you ever seen video games sold as NFTs? It’s novel and intriguing to have an actual game that can be played as an NFT. That is the focus of Dom Hofmann’s new NFT project “Supdrive.”
The co-founder of Vine, an abandoned entertainment loop-format video service, has posted a notice about a new video game NFT project. The ‘Supdrive’ project will be an ‘on-chain fantasy console,’ with NFTs serving as games.
Supdrive – New Kind of NFT
As a matter of fact, we’ve all seen NFT, which acts as a form of ownership for digital items such as digital artwork, images, videos, and game-items. Supdrive is now being introduced as a new video game NFT on the market.
Significantly, the original games titled ‘Origin’ which was created by Hofmann will give the support to Supdrive. He intends to open up the platform to collaborators in order to create additional titles in the future.
Moreover, every Supdrive game will have many NFTs, each of which will be distinct from the others. Colors, gameplay variations, and difficulty settings may differ. Supdrive has not yet revealed any details about the games, but an image from a post on its official account shows low-polygon. This illustration depicts a retro game cartridge and console.
Furthermore, NFTs have reached a high level, as evidenced by NFT sales in the first half of 2021. NFT is a new trend that has exploded since the beginning of this year. The market has also begun to see new NFTs every week, and this upward trend is expected to continue as NFTs gain popularity.
